[MSFC] Mid-South Community Notice 4/16/2020

ncfencingadmin Club News, Mid-South Fencers Club club news, Mid-South Fencers Club News

Usually this type of communication comes in the form of a “Weeklyish Newsletter” via email to our members. We are making our communication more transparent and available to our greater fencing community who will be impacted by the rapid social changes occurring due to Covid-19. Thank you in advance for taking care of and supporting each other.

We are asking for the combined and focused strength of our community today.

First, we are asking our community to fill out this survey to help us make responsible choices as we reformulate our business plan.

Second, we need supporters who understand small businesses like ours, consider them to be valuable, and are willing to help us figure out a path to survive. Despite our efforts in applying on the first day of application, we did not secure funding through a Truist-NCIFund COVID-19 Grant, the Payroll Protection Program, or via the Economic Injury Disaster Loan. We have been told the money has run out and no funds are available.

We are committed to finding creative solutions.  We believe solutions will reveal themselves as we consult, and we want to use this as an opportunity to evolve in a way in order to build a better society for in which our entire community can grow and thrive within.

With gratitude,

Jen and Jeff
