Mid-South Fencers’ Club in downtown Durham, NC is seeking to fill these positions for the 2019-2020 season: 

Fencing Coach

Full to part-time salary and/or hourly position(s) open until filled. Must have strong communication skills, ability to work with a diverse age population, have a driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Experience working and building up youth fencers in a collaborative environment is a must. Saber experience preferred, but not required. Must be Safesport certified. 

Front Desk Manager

Part-time employee able to work most afternoons from 3:30pm-9pm, M-F, and some weekends, including regular Saturday mornings. Average weekly work hours vary, but is usually about 20 hours per week. We pay a living wage, currently $13.35 an hour. Must have strong computer skills and customer service experience. Fencing knowledge helpful, but not necessary. Must pass background check and able to be Safesport certified.

Fitness Trainer (Contract Employee)

Seeking athletic trainer suitable for elite athlete training 9:30-10:30am Saturday mornings. We are willing to negotiate the use space to build your own personal training clientele in the day and evenings. Must pass background check and be able to be Safesport certified.
