Youth Development

To promote and foster the growth, participation and development of youth fencing at the local, regional and national level. To do this we:

• Develop ways to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our youngest athletes
• Provide open lines of communication with other committees, the national office and the general fencing public in order to be constantly informed on the state of youth fencing issues and adapt our work focus to meet the needs of these groups as necessary
• Act as a support for youth parents, coaches and athletes
• Evaluate other youth fencing related issues as requested by the Division Officers
