The All-American Fencing Academy was recently awarded with a Department of Defense contract to provide a fencing program to Military Families at Fort Bragg, NC.

The program started with a summer camp that maxed out at 15 students with a waiting list.  The summer camp was head coached by former UNC fencer and former UNC assistant coach, Joe Pipkin.  Joe  took an opportunity to work with Fort Bragg's Military Families between fencing in a World Cup and National Championships.

In August, the All-American Fencing Academy is planning to continue the fencing program for Military Youth as a monthly instructional course through the Army's SKIES (Schools of Knowledge, Inspiration, Exploration and Skills) program.

Additionally, under the Army Family Covenant, Army Families may be able to utilize monthly fencing classes at no cost if a Family Member is deployed.
